My
My name is Robert Postrozny and I have worked for Wolimex for 14 years. The company was established in 1984 by Eugeniusz Wojak in Limanowa, south Poland. It specialises in the construction of sewage systems, waste water treatment plants and hydro-technical engineering.
The company owns two quarries that produce sandstone and aggregates. It also produces pre-cast concrete products such as pipes, blocks, and paving slabs, and delivers ready-mixed concrete to customers.
I operate a Hitachi ZX670LCH-3 at the Mêcina quarry, close to the company’s headquarters. The quarry opened in August 2008 and currently produces 1,000 tonnes of sandstone per day.
HITACHI
The ZX670LCH-3 was delivered in March 2009 and has 1,080 working hours. In addition to this model, Wolimex owns a Hitachi ZW310 wheel loader, a ZX210-3 and ZX470LCH-3 excavators.
The company has been a customer of Tona, the official Polish Hitachi dealer since 2007, when it invested in the ZX470LCH-3.
Experience
The ZX670LCH-3 excavator is used for loading large dump trucks, which transport the sandstone to the site’s main crusher. It works constantly from 7am to 4pm five days a week – there is no downtime with this machine. It is extremely reliable and powerful.
Even though I am extremely tall, I still have enough legroom in the cab and find it comfortable to sit in. The excavator’s controls are easy to use and everything is close at hand, which allows me to work quickly and smoothly. The reinforced front window and stable chassis also make me feel safe while I am working.
