My
My name is Pavel Bauer and I am an operator for Gidromaster in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Gidromaster was established eight years ago and has 100 employees.
The company is a contractor on an expansion project at one of the city’s universities. It supplied three Hitachi wheeled excavators – a ZX210W-3 and two ZX180Ws – to work at the site, where new physics and maths department buildings are under construction. I operate the ZX210W-3, which is used for earthmoving on the site.
HITACHI
Gidromaster has a total of five Hitachi excavators. It purchased a ZX330 and a ZX230 in 2005, and two ZX180Ws between 2007 and 2008. The ZX210W-3 was delivered in July 2009 and has 700 working hours.
Co-owner Pavel Vladimirovich Achshaulov appreciates the versatility of Hitachi wheeled excavators. They are easy to transport to job sites around the city and can work on a variety of projects.
The company also values the support from the official Hitachi dealer in Kazakhstan, Turkuaz Machinery. The dealer supplied the first excavator to Gidromaster on loan, so the company’s loyalty stems from the initial understanding and service it received.
Experience
I think the most important benefits of the Hitachi ZX210W-3 are that it is fast, powerful and reliable. Compared to other brands of construction machinery, Hitachi excavators are manufactured to a higher quality.
In the cab of the ZX210W-3, I particularly like the air conditioning in summer and the heater in the winter. It has a comfortable seat and the control levers are easy to use.
The main benefit of Hitachi machines for the company is reliability. We work for eight hours a day, six days a week. Although the Hitachi excavators are operated intensively, they are all still in excellent condition.
