MY

My name is Dima Kostyak and I am an operator for Georg Eichele in south-west Germany. The company is based in Untergroeningen and carries out road and general construction projects within a 50km radius of the town. It has 120 employees.

I have worked for the company for eight years. The Hitachi ZW75 is the first Hitachi machine that I have used. I usually operate excavators and wheel loaders produced by another manufacturer.

At this job site in Suessen, we are laying electricity and gas cables and creating space for water pipes for new houses that have been constructed at the end of the street. We use the ZW75 for filling in trenches, loading gravel and mud, transporting pavement stones around the site and grading the ground.

HITACHI

The company owns six Hitachi excavators including a ZX250, ZX140W, ZX40, ZX40U-2, ZX35U-2 and ZX22U-2. It has been a customer of Kiesel since 2006 and the owner has a longstanding relationship with Sales Manager Manfred Prinz.

EXPERIENCE

The ZW75 wheel loader is a versatile machine. Compared to a similar model by a different manufacturer, it has greater traction force. It also has greater stability, especially when I am driving along uneven road surfaces and when it is used with a fork attachment. The lifting capacity of the ZW75 is also greater than other wheel loaders I have used.

The cab is comfortable and spacious. It has good all-round visibility and I find it easier to see the back of the machine when I am reversing – it is relatively compact at the rear, which helps in narrow spaces. Overall, I have only positive things to say about it.
