My name is Safet Berisa and I am an operator for Emmedue Snc. The family-run construction company was established in 1963 and is located in Petrigenano d’assisi.
HITACHI
The ZX40U-2 is currently the only Hitachi model in our fleet. It has been helping to remove traffic islands on a road close to Perugia. It is also constructing new pavements and digging tunnels for upgraded electricity and water supplies on the same site.
We began using Hitachi excavators in 2003 and we prefer to rent the construction machinery. This is the most cost-effective option for us and one that the Italian Hitachi distributor can accommodate.
We normally rent the machines on a long-term basis. This provides us with greater flexibility and we have access to other models in the Hitachi fleet as and when required.
Experience
I believe that Hitachi is the best manufacturer of mini-excavators. It makes sense to us that we can try before we buy, or simply rent.
Due to the versatility of the ZX40U-2, we decided to purchase this particular machine. The zero-tail swing means that it is safe when working close to the roadside and it is also invaluable in confined spaces.
