My name is Marineu Fabio and I am the owner of Marineu Gio Condo SNC. The company has been in the family since 1922 and we have always been involved in all aspects of the construction industry. However, we had to do everything by hand in the early days!
HITACHI
We have enjoyed a period of continuous expansion and now own a fleet of construction machinery. This includes a Hitachi ZX22U-2, which is contracted out to general and road construction projects.
We need machines which are best suited to the majority of our contracts. So, I had to seek advice from the manufacturers. My relationship with Hitachi is strong because of the sales team and their knowledge of the market and the Hitachi product range.
We have bought Hitachi excavators since 2003. The first Hitachi machine I operated was a ZX25 and I liked the product straightaway. I have nothing but praise for them.
Experience
Hitachi makes excavators of the highest quality and so I had no hesitation when buying the ZX22U-2. I also tested it first and found it extremely easy to operate.
Its short-tail is a huge advantage on small housing development sites. I often only need the one machine due to the versatility of the ZX22U-2. It can be used for everything from tunnelling for foundations and drainage, to helping to prepare a new access road or car park.
