My name is Massimiliano Moscatelli and I work as an operator for Bies SRL. The company specialises in general construction and demolition. It was established in Assisi, Perugia in 1949 and now has 49 employees.

HITACHI

 The company used Hitachi construction machinery before it was taken over by the current owner. The old fleet is now being expanded. We are currently using a Hitachi ZX240-3 for the demolition of a factory in the mountains near Assisi. We also have ten other Hitachi models.

Experience

I find that the Hitachi machines are extremely stable in every situation, even when the bucket is fully loaded and the boom is on an angle. This is as a result of the stronger undercarriage and firmer chassis.

The cab has been designed to be comfortable and quiet. The addition of a rear-view camera also increases safety when in reverse mode, especially when working in the mountains!
