My name is Simon Domenico and I am an operator for Caltiber SRL. The company specialises in general construction on commercial and residential projects. We have three offices located in Perugia, Foligno and Sede and we have a total of 80 employees.

We are renowned for our innovation and were the first company in Italy to introduce SCC Cement. We have also developed a new system for supporting floors without pillars.

HITACHI

We switched to Hitachi construction machinery after an extensive trial of two ZW220 wheel loaders. Since then, we have continued to be impressed by the power and precision of the Hitachi wheel loaders and the support we receive from the manufacturer.

Experience

The Hitachi ZW220s are currently helping us to produce different types of cement from five base materials. We have different requirements and time constraints for each end product, so efficiency and productivity are key priorities for us.

The ZW220 has the power to drive up steep slopes and is easy to operate – even when fully loaded. This means that I am always in control!
