My

My name is Manuel Aluatez and I am a technician for Ferpi. The construction company operates throughout Spain and its head office is in Gijon. Ferpi is involved in general earthmoving projects, including the installation of pipelines and the creation of road and rail networks.

I am based in Galicia, a province in north-west Spain. We have over 80 employees in the region, but this number increases during the summer months.

HITACHI

Ferpi has several Hitachi machines in its fleet. In Galicia we have a wide range of larger models, including four EH1100 dump trucks and ZX850 and ZX870-3 excavators.

Two of the dump trucks and both excavators are currently working on a high-speed rail link between Santiago and Ourense. They have been on the site for two years and will be there for at least another 12 months.
