My
My name is Arno Janssen and I work for Zilverzand Exploitatie Beaujeau BV in Heerlen in the south of The Netherlands. The company was established here in 1900 and it has always been involved in the quarrying industry .
I am one of the 15 employees and have worked on this site for 25 years. We extract the sand from the quarry, wash, clean and then filter it down to difference sizes. These are sold on for manufacturing into products such as grout, toothpaste, glass and ceramics.
HITACHI
We bought our first Hitachi in 2006, having formerly used machines from one of its competitors. This was a ZX250LC-3 excavator and we have since purchased a ZW220 wheel loader in September 2008.
There is a good relationship between our company and the Hitachi sales team.
Experience
I was lucky to be able to test the Hitachi ZX250LC-3 against my old excavator. This meant that there was only one choice for me!
I enjoy working in the cab because it is a quiet and spacious working environment. There is easy access for routine maintenance work and a good level of productivity.
The Zaxis works quickly and efficiently, and it is extremely user friendly – it always does what you want it to do. The controls have been ergonomically designed and I always feel safe due to the stability of the ZX250LC-3.
